You pick your character, and then you decide what your goals are - it's a sandbox, in much the same way that, say, Mount and Blade is a sandbox you've got a world, a framework, and rules to work within, and it's up to you to decide where to go and what to do with them.Ģ) The game is both more and less fiddly than other strategy games. Also, as part of this, there's really no set goals - there's no objectives screen saying 'Become King of England' or 'Claim the Duchy of Gascogne' or something.
You just play the game, and hopefully survive all the way to 1453 (or whatever other endpoint you decide to set for yourself).
